We look at the sky and vertigo throws us off balance. The earth attracts us but we resist. Falling, getting up, pushing and supporting each other is part of the game.

DELLA STESSA SOSTANZA DEGLI ALBERI
A newly planted seed lives its life underground, even if we can’t see it she hears the singing of a person who is up there somewhere, the call of the cicadas the storm in the distance, the footsteps of the pilgrims among the dry autumn leaves, the raindrops that wet it for the first time. Nothing seems to be happening down there but instead the seed slowly pulls out its roots and emerges from the earth cradled by the sunlight, it grows, lets itself be caressed by the wind, lives and breathes like us. We are made of the same substance as trees.
